Everyone here at Outback Team Building & Training wishes you a very happy holiday season! Here are some of our favorite moments from the past year that really showcase the “magic” of team building.

As the year comes to a close, our Event Coordinators wanted to look back at some of their most memorable experiences from 2018. When you work for Outback Team Building & Training, you get to see a lot of groups bonding, growing, and learning in all sorts of different ways. Here are just a few of our favorite team building moments...

Top Team Building Moments from 2018

1. Paradise Construction - Los Angeles, California

"My favorite customer memory was with Paradise Construction, who competed in a Minute to Win It in Los Angeles, California. They had such a strong sense of community. I noticed everyone offered their unique skills to contribute to their team’s success, whether it was translating instructions for their non-English speaking team members, brainstorming the best strategy, or folding the most aerodynamic paper airplane. Their positivity and spirit of fun kept me in a happy mood all day."

- Kelsey, Event Coordinator

2. L'Oreal - Montreal, Quebec

"This past summer I had the privilege of running a Charity Bike Buildathon for L’Oreal in Montreal, Quebec. There were participants attending from across North and South America, most of whom had never met face-to-face before. The camaraderie between those who had never met was surprising, but what really stuck out to me was how each group presented their bicycles. Each presentation was delivered in multiple languages – Spanish, French, Portuguese, and English. They used all of them to simultaneously display their diversity and unity, and I had never experienced anything like that before. It helped me realize that proximity doesn’t define your team – relationships do."

- Jason, Event Coordinator

3. PointClickCare - Toronto, Ontario

"The most exciting event I went on this year was a 500-person event in Toronto, Ontario for PointClickCare. There was a lot of anticipation leading up to the event, and everyone ended up having a blast. I remember hearing teams cheer aloud from across the room, giving each other high fives. The energy was unreal. The room was filled with laughter, cheering, and friendly competition. As I watched teams work together to complete their challenges, I realized that this is why I love my job. To see people come together, work together, and celebrate together."

- Leanne, Event Coordinator
